VBPD Investigating Fatal Accident on Lynnhaven Parkway

Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) officers responded to the 1100 block of Lynnhaven Pkwy. on June 7, 2024 at 7:40 p.m. for an accident involving a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, Lucena Lynch (F/77) of Virginia Beach, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators.
