VBPD Arrests One in Shooting on Mulberry Loop

On May 13, 2024, at 8:26 a.m., Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired at the 2600 block of Mulberry Loop.

The subsequent investigation by VPBD detectives, with the assistance of the Norfolk Police Department, identified the suspect as Kaevon Hinnant (M/28) of Norfolk. Mr. Hinnant has been arrested and charged with two counts of Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling.
