ShotSpotter Alert Leads VBPD to Arrest One in Lake Edward Dr. Shooting

The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to a ShotSpotter alert and related call for service at the 700 block of Lake Edward Dr. on March 12, 2024.

VBPD officers investigated the incident and after interviewing the involved parties on-scene, arrested Traquan Ravail Lewis (M/27). Mr. Lewis is charged with Discharging a Firearm in Public. No injuries have been reported from this incident.
