Roadway Improvements for Virginia Beach Boulevard Begin May 28

Virginia Beach Boulevard from Great Neck Road to Riddle Avenue will undergo roadway improvements beginning 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28.

Milling and paving operations are likely to produce traffic delays, congestion and some construction noise. Advanced warning signs will be clearly posted advising motorists of lane closures. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes when possible. All work on this project will be done 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting. The project is expected to be completed by Sept. 17.
