The Mayor's Veterans Committee is responsible for creating and coordinating the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Tidewater Veterans Memorial located across from the Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19th St. ​They are also responsible for the William L. "Billy" Myers Memorial Garden, located directly behind the Memorial.
The MVC meets February through June and October. They do not meet in January, July, August, September, November and December.
