The Department of Public Utilities (DPU) has contracted with Inlet Construction to replace approximately 2,000 feet of sanitary sewer force main along Magic Hollow Boulevard near the southern entrance of the Magic Hollow Subdivision. This project is necessary to improve the public infrastructure servicing the area. Construction is scheduled to start at the end of April and is expected to last one year. Normal working hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. During construction, there will be noise, temporary changes to traffic patterns, and visible construction equipment within the City right-of-way. One lane of Magic Hollow Boulevard will remain open throughout the project, and residents and businesses will have access to their properties at all times.

Citizens can join the meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, by visiting VirginiaBeach.gov/pu‐projects and selecting ‘Join Magic Hollow Project Meeting.’ During the meeting, DPU will discuss the project details, schedule, and impacts. At the end, any questions or concerns from residents or business owners will be addressed.
