Based on feedback from residents, businesses and other stakeholders, including numerous public meetings and online surveys, the City has updated the Comprehensive Plan to guide future land use and development throughout the city. At this stage, the City is seeking confirmation from the public that this final draft of the plan reflects community priorities communicated during the public input stage of the plan’s development. 

Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend the public meeting where staff and consultants will share the final draft of the plan. 

Please direct requests for communication assistance, an accommodation, auxiliary aid, or modification to policy in order to participate in a City program, service or activity to the ADA Coordinator, 757-385-8444, as soon as possible before the program, service or activity is scheduled to begin, but in all instances no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
