VBPD Investigating Fatal Crash on Ferrell Parkway

On Aug. 16, 2024, at 9:02 p.m., officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the 5000 block of Ferrell Parkway for an accident involving a motorcycle.

Upon arriving on scene, officers found two vehicles involved. The driver of the motorcycle, Randall Gollihur (M/53), was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, Brittany Harris (F/35), was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence (First Offense) and DUI Refusal.  The incident is still under investigation and additional charges are anticipated.
