VBPD Arrests Three in Armed Robbery on Newtown Road

On June 9, 2024 at 1:00 a.m., officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the 100 block of S. Newtown Road for a report of an armed robbery.

An investigation revealed three suspects allegedly assaulted an adult male and robbed him at gunpoint. Each of the suspects were apprehended on June 11, 2024.

Eric Jones Jr. (M/27) of Virginia Beach is charged with Abduction with the Intent to Extort Money, Armed Robbery, two counts of Using a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

Juan Jones (M/24) of Norfolk is charged with Abduction with the Intent to Extort Money, Armed Robbery, two counts of Using a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

Khamari Lanier (M/23) of Virginia Beach is charged with Abduction with the Intent to Extort Money, Armed Robbery, two counts of Using a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.
