Screen Documentary on Alzheimer’s Disease Oct. 22
Free event includes discussion with film’s producers at Virginia Beach Central Library
The public is invited to attend a free film screening and Q&A with the producers of a documentary that addresses the impact of Alzheimer’s disease.
The film “Cycle of Memory” will be screened, followed by the Q&A, 10 a.m. to noon, Oct. 22, at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library Auditorium, 4100 Virginia Beach Blvd.
Sponsored by the Virginia Beach Mayor’s Commission on Aging, “Cycle of Memory” explores the importance of intergenerational connection, healing painful pasts, and leaving a meaningful time capsule for the future. It also provides a look at the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on family and friend relationships.
The film runs 72 minutes and will be introduced by a Mayor’s Commission on Aging member.
The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. No food or beverages are permitted in the Auditorium.
