Three Council Members Hosting Community Events in February
Councilmembers Berlucchi, Henley and Remick will hold meetings for their districts.

Councilmembers Michael Berlucchi, Barbara Henley and Worth Remick invite the public to attend their community meetings in the coming weeks.
Councilmember Remick will host a District 6 community meeting to update residents on current city projects and issues that impact the district on Thursday, Feb. 13. Topics of discussion include the role of the Real Estate Assessor’s Office, relief and incentives the office provides to homeowners, and important information about assessments and trends, along with information from the department of Housing & Neighborhood Preservation on homelessness and how to help, and information on grants/resources available to improve your home and stay in compliance with code. It will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Training Academy. Doors open at 6 p.m.
On Monday, Feb. 24, join Councilmember Berlucchi and School Board Member Mark Bohenstiel for a District 3 City Council & School Board Community Conversation. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and share thoughts with their district leaders. The meeting will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Kempsville Recreation Center.
Councilmember Henley will host her monthly District 2 community meeting from 5:15-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, in Building 19 at the Municipal Center. Held the fourth Thursday of each month, the meetings are held to update residents on current City projects and issues. Residents will have an opportunity to meet and build relationships with other members of the district, engage and participate in the conversation and have their questions addressed.
All meetings are free and open to the public.
