Councilmembers Henley and Ross-Hammond Hosting District Meetings

Councilmember Dr. Ross-Hammond will hold a community meeting for District 4. Councilmember Henley will host her monthly District 2 meeting.

Councilmembers Barbara Henley and Dr. Amelia Ross-Hammond invite the public to attend their upcoming community events.

On Thursday, Sept. 26, Councilmember Henley will host her monthly District 2 community meeting from 5:15-7 p.m. in Building 19 at the Municipal Center. Held the fourth Thursday of each month, the meetings provide an opportunity for residents to hear updates on current City projects and issues pertinent to them. Attendees will have the opportunity to build relationships with other members of the community, engage and participate in the conversation and have their questions addressed.​

Councilmember Dr. Ross-Hammond will host a District 4 community meeting on Thursday, Oct. 3. Topics of discussion include schools, the 2024 Parks After Dark program, and and update on public safety, including crime statistics, safety and traffic calming. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions.​ The meeting will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. at Williams Farm Recreation Center.

All meetings are free and open to the public.
