Councilmembers Henley and Remick Hosting District Meetings
Councilmember Remick will host a community meeting for District 6. Councilmember Henley will hold her monthly District 2 meeting.

Councilmembers Worth Remick and Barbara Henley invite the public to attend their upcoming community meetings.
Councilmember Remick will host a District 6 community meeting to update residents on current city projects and issues that impact the district on Thursday, May 15. Attendees will get an update on stormwater management, specifically the Central Beach project, the budget, the opening of Atlantic Park and Laskin Road. The Virginia Beach Fire Department will also provide a briefing, including stats and tips for responding to an emergency as a civilian. The meeting will be 6:30-8 p.m. in the auditorium at the Law Enforcement Training Academy. Doors open at 6 p.m.
On Thursday, May 22, join Councilmember Henley at her monthly District 2 community meeting from 5:15-7 p.m. in Building 19 at the Municipal Center. Held the fourth Thursday of each month, the meetings are held to update residents on current City projects and issues. Residents will have an opportunity to meet and build relationships with other members of the district, engage and participate in the conversation and have their questions addressed.
All meetings are free and open to the public.
