Virginia Beach Fire Department to Host Recruiting Open House Friday, Nov. 14

The Virginia Beach Fire Department (VBFD) will host an Open House for individuals interested in pursuing a career with the VBFD on Friday, Nov. 14, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., at the Harry E. Diezel Fire Training Center, 927 S. Birdneck Road. The Open House is being held in conjunction with the current recruitment campaign that ends Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (EST).  

Guests will have the chance to meet our instructors, tour our training facilities, and learn about the professional development opportunities with VBFD.
