Virginia Beach Fire Department to Host Recruiting Open House Friday, May 1, for Individuals Interested in Applying for the Next Recruit Academy

The Virginia Beach Fire Department (VBFD) will host an open house for individuals interested in pursuing a career with the VBFD on Friday, May 1, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Harry E. Diezel Fire Training Center, 927 S. Birdneck Road. The Open House is being held in conjunction with the current recruitment campaign that ends Wednesday, May 20th, at 11:59 p.m. (EST).

Guests will have the chance to meet our instructors, tour our training facilities, watch live fire and EMS skill demonstrations, and learn about the professional development opportunities with VBFD.
