VBPD Seeks Additional Victims and Witnesses in Public Indecency Investigation
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, May 13, 2026 –The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) is seeking additional victims and witnesses in connection with an ongoing public indecency investigation.
Walter Maiden (M/37) of Virginia Beach has been arrested and charged with two counts of indecent exposure and two counts of obscene sexual display. VBPD officers have already identified and spoken with several victims; however, officers believe there may be additional individuals who witnessed these incidents who have not yet come forward.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a light gray Volkswagen Tiguan bearing Virginia license plates and was known to frequently heavily trafficked shopping center parking lots, including Target, TJ Maxx, and the Hilltop Shopping area, throughout Virginia Beach.
This incident remains under investigation by the Second Precinct. Anyone with information is asked to contact VBPD at (757)385-2700 or anonymously through Crime Solvers at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or P3Tips.com.
