VBPD Seeking Additional Victims After Indecent Exposure Arrest

The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) is urging potential victims to come forward after making an arrest in an investigation centered around indecent exposures.

Throughout Aug. 2025, Emergency Communications and Citizen Services (ECCS) received reports of an adult male exposing himself at multiple locations in the Great Neck and Hilltop areas. VBPD’s Second Precinct Crime Suppression Squad later took over the investigation.

That investigation identified Robert Mason (M/70) of Virginia Beach as the suspect. On Sept. 13, 2025, officers arrested Mason and charged him with four counts of Indecent Exposure, four counts of Public Masturbation, and one count of Being Illegally Parked in a Handicap Space.

Mason is known to have frequented the following locations:

·         London Bridge Plaza (2356 Virginia Beach Blvd.)

·         Great Neck Shopping Center (2110 Great Neck Sq.)

·         Market Square Shopping Center (2844 Virginia Beach Blvd.)

Anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Mason, or has additional information regarding this investigation, should contact the VBPD Second Precinct Crime Suppression Squad at 757-385-2700, or Crime Solvers at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or P3Tips.com.

(Note: The charges mentioned in this press release are accusations, and the arrested individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.)
