VBPD Makes Arrest in Malicious Wounding on Meredith Court
On Oct. 11, 2025, at 8:27a.m., Virginia Beach Emergency Communications and Citizen Services received a call for a stabbing in the 2200 block of Meredith Ct. Responding officers located a victim (M/11), suffering from numerous lacerations. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and in stable condition.
The suspect was identified as Joshua Rambo (M/33), of Virginia Beach. Rambo was located and taken into custody for charges of aggravated malicious wounding, unlawfully stabbing another person while committing a felony, and abduction. Mr. Rambo has multiple felony convictions and was recently released from the Virginia Department of Corrections on May 20, 2025.
