VBPD Makes Arrest in Fatal Stabbing on Graylyn Road

On Jan. 28, 2025, at 4:18 p.m., Virginia Beach Emergency Communications and Citizens Services (ECCS) received a call for stabbing at the 1300 block of Graylyn Rd. Responding officers arrived on scene and located Roy Stackhouse (M/58), deceased. 

The suspect in the case is Daniel Van Dyke (M/38) of Virginia Beach, who was on scene and arrested without incident. Van Dyke was charged with First Degree Murder and Stabbing during the Commission of a Felony.
