VBPD Investigating Fatal Crash on Lynnhaven Parkway
On Sept. 22, 2024, at approximately 6:31 p.m., officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the intersection of Lynnhaven Pkwy. and S. Rosemont Rd. for an accident involving two vehicles.
The preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle entered the intersection when they did not have the right of way, striking the second vehicle.Â
The passenger in the second vehicle, Nazare Guerrero-Reyes (F/20) of Virginia Beach, was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. Both drivers of the first and second vehicles were also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.Â
