VBPD Investigating Fatal Collision on Dam Neck Road

On July 25, 2024, at approximately 9:25 p.m., officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the 3800 block of Dam Neck Rd. for an accident.

Officers arrived on scene and found two vehicles involved.  One of the drivers was transported to a local hospital for injuries.  On Aug. 03, 2024, that individual, Brian Rupert (M/52) of Virginia Beach, succumbed to his injuries.
