VBPD Arrests Man for Unlawful Filming and Child Pornography
On March 7, 2026, the Virginia Beach Police Department responded to a call for service involving the unlawful filming of a juvenile.
Detectives from the VBPD’s Special Victims Unit took the lead from officers and identified Jack Linke (M/44) of Virginia Beach as the suspect. Following the execution of a search warrant, detectives discovered digital files containing child sexual abuse and bestiality material on Linke’s electronic devices.
On July 9, 2026, VBPD took Linke into custody and charged him with unlawful filming, possession of child pornography, and possession of bestiality.
The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is working in coordination with VBPD. Linke is currently being held at Virginia Beach City Jail without bond.
