Two-Hour Free Parking on Atlantic Avenue Resumes Nov. 1
Additional Oceanfront Free Parking Available at Municipal Lots and Meters
There is plenty to see and do at the Oceanfront, and now residents and visitors can heighten their experience with free parking in selective areas along Atlantic Avenue for up to two hours between Nov. 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025.
For the designated five-month period, two-hour parking will be available to drivers free of charge between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. The areas for eligible parking will be marked with signage, rather than painted on the street.
The free parking is along the outside southbound lane of Atlantic Avenue from 5th Street to 38th Street except for the block(s) between 10th and 11th streets, 19th and 22nd streets, and 29th and 32nd streets.
In addition, there is free metered parking at on-street spaces from Nov. 1 to March 31, 2025, except for the 300 blocks of 24th 1/2 and 25th Streets. During the same timeframe, free parking is offered at all municipal parking surface lots, except for oversized vehicles at the 4th Street lot.
