ShotSpotter Alert Leads to Arrest on Zephyr Court

On June 3, 2026, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 600 block of Zephyr Court. Upon arrival, VBPD officers found one adult male victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound on the 600 block of Crows Nest Court.

VBPD immediately canvassed the area, located and arrested Timothy Valentine (M/45) of Virginia Beach. Valentine was charged with the following:

·       Aggravated Malicious Wounding

·       Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony

·       Reckless Handling of a Firearm, Resulting in Injury

Valentine was transported to Virginia Beach City Jail and is currently being held without bond.
