ShotSpotter Alert Leads to Arrest on Virginia Beach Boulevard
On June 13, 2026, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 300 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard.
Upon arrival, VBPD officers immediately canvassed the area, located and arrested Robert Conard (M/28) of Prince George. A firearm was confiscated from the scene. Conard was charged with the following:
·      Willfully Discharging a Firearm in a Public Place
·      Possession of a Firearm with a Controlled Substance
·      Possession of a Controlled Substance
·      Reckless Handling of a Firearm
·      Public Intoxication
Conard was transported to Virginia Beach City Jail and is currently being held without bond.
