Man Arrested for Distribution and Possession of Child Pornography

On January 22, 2026, the Virginia Beach Police Department responded to a call for service involving reports of potential child exploitation.

Detectives from the VBPD’s Special Investigation Bureau took the lead from the officers and identified Timothy Ian Juda (M/47) of Virginia Beach as the suspect. Following the execution of a search warrant, detectives discovered numerous digital files containing child sexual abuse material on Juda’s electronic devices.

On January 27, 2026, VBPD Fugitive Apprehension Squad detectives took Juda into custody on 10 counts of distribution of child pornography.
