Nonprofit Community Organizations Can Apply for Grants to Serve Virginia Beach Residents

Qualified nonprofit organizations can apply for grants from the City of Virginia Beach now through Jan. 31, 2026.  

Community Organization Grants (COG) provide funding to qualified nonprofit organizations to provide services that affect the quality of life of residents of Virginia Beach.  

Only nonprofit {501 (c) (3)} organizations are eligible for the grants, and the funding must serve only Virginia Beach residents. Awarded organizations must submit financial records and year-end performance data.
