Commonwealth v. Marlowe Prince Simon; Man Sentenced to Two Life Terms plus 20 Years for Sexual Abuse of Child
Virginia Beach, Va. – Colin D. Stolle, Commonwealth’s Attorney for the city of Virginia Beach, announced that Marlowe Prince Simon, age 42, was sentenced on charges of Forcible Sodomy – Victim Under Age 13 (two counts), Aggravated Sexual Battery – Victim Under Age 13, and Indecent Liberties. He was found guilty of these charges after a three-day jury trial on October 24, 2025. The jury recommended a sentence of two (2) life terms plus twenty (20) years in prison. Circuit Court Judge Afshin Farashahi formally imposed that sentence.
The Commonwealth’s evidence proved that between January 1 and May 7, 2023, Marlowe Prince Simon sexually abused a child known to him on multiple occasions. The child disclosed the abuse to a family member, who took the child to the emergency department at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD). CHKD notified the Virginia Beach Police Department and Child Protective Services, who began simultaneous investigations.
