City of Virginia Beach Closures on Election Day, Nov. 5

On Election Day, Nov. 5, the Kempsville Area Library will be closed as it serves as a polling location. While the inside of the branch will be used for voting only, library holds can be picked up in the lobby from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. All other Virginia Beach Public Library locations will be open as usual.

The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, Virginia Beach Circuit Court, General District Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts and Clerk’s Offices also will be closed on Election Day.
