City of Virginia Beach Invites Job Seekers to Career Fair Oct. 6

Job seekers can meet with representatives from departments of the City of Virginia Beach for open positions during a Career Fair, noon to 6 p.m. on Oct. 6. The fair will be on the second floor of the Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19th St.

Career opportunities are available in various fields, including nursing, engineering, trades, commercial driver’s license positions, public safety, paraprofessional, operational and more. On-the-spot interviews will be provided for select positions. Prospective applicants can pre-register for the event online. 

The following City departments will have representatives on site to meet with jobseekers on Oct. 6:

• Library
