The Dome will honor its storied legacy while making waves as an iconic entertainment epicenter.
“The Dome will quickly become a go-to destination for music, comedy, and special events, all while paying homage to the legacy of the original Dome — a celebrated home for jazz, soul, and rock ‘n’ roll,” said Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer.
What to Expect Next
Virginia Beach residents can expect to start to see announcements about the top touring artists that will visit the state-of-the-art venue. Additional details about the venue and the first show to play at the Dome will be announced in the coming weeks.

- The Dome is part of a walkable entertainment district and offers easy access by public transportation.
Designed With the Artist in Mind
- Artists will have a dedicated artist wing and lounge that includes eight private dressing rooms.
- The venue boasts cutting-edge, customizable technology and design specially curated for artist efficiency and comfort.
The Dome Will Contribute to the Economic Vibrancy of Virginia Beach
- The Dome will bring an incredible amount of foot traffic to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront as concert fans can visit the shops and restaurants in the area.
- To support the venue, Live Nation will create more than 200 permanent jobs with base pay starting at $20/hour for all staff.
- Hiring fairs for the new venue will be held in early spring 2025.
