Virginia Beach Public Works is developing a citywide Local Road Safety Action Plan, which will be a document that provides a basis for systemic safety improvements along the city’s roadway network. The plan process will identify safety improvements at intersections based on a risk factor analysis of the intersections within the city. The success of this plan will be determinant upon the input received and participation from the community, stakeholders, and representatives.
