The Virginia Beach Historical Review Board will be holding a meeting to conduct a site visit at the deWitt Cottage (1113 Atlantic Avenue). The purpose of the site visit is to review the conditions of an existing fence and a proposed alternative material for a replacement fence ahead of the Historical Review Board’s regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Time allowing, the Historical Review Board will also visit the Seatack Life Saving Station/USCG Station (2401 Atlantic Avenue) to review an existing fence made of a similar material as what is proposed for use at the deWitt Cottage.
