Residents are invited to attend an informational meeting to discuss upcoming construction activities for Pungo Ferry Road from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Creeds Elementary School, 920 Princess Anne Road. This project will raise Pungo Ferry Road from Blackwater Road to the west side of the Pungo Ferry Road Bridge approach, a distance of about two miles. The road will be raised to minimize recurring flooding and address sea level rise where practical.
