CALLING ALL PRINCESS ANNE COUNTY TRAINING SCHOOL/UNION KEMPSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI!

You’re invited to record your story to help preserve local Black history and the legacy of Princess Anne County Training School/Union Kempsville High School! Dr. Cassandra Newby-Alexander and Dr. Stephanie Richmond from the Norfolk State University (NSU) Joseph Jenkins Roberts Center for Black Disapora Studies will oversee the project, with NSU students and professors administering the interviews and video recordings. Recordings will be used for a digital collection and promotion of the PACTS/UKHS Museum. Interviews will incorporate alumni experiences related to the 2023 national Black History Month theme, “Black Resistance.”
