As part the City of Virginia Beach Department of Public Utilities’ (DPU) Aging Infrastructure Program, the department will replace approximately 12,000 feet of water main within the northern section of the Green Run neighborhood. Construction is anticipated to start in early fall 2024 and is expected to be complete by mid-2026. This project is necessary to improve the public infrastructure servicing the area.

Citizens can join the meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, by visiting VirginiaBeach.gov/pu‐projects and selecting ‘Join Green Garden Project Meeting.’ During the meeting, DPU will discuss the project details, schedule, and impacts. At the end, any questions or concerns from residents or business owners will be addressed.
