The purpose of this SPECIAL FORMAL SESSION is to allow the City Council, following its regularly scheduled Formal Session as listed in the attached agenda, to convene into a Closed Session to consider the following matters:

•Publicly Held Property – District 6

•Public Contract – Project Ramp

•Personnel Matters – Council Appointments: Council Boards, Commissions,Committees, Authorities, Agencies, Taskforces and Appointees

At the Conclusion of the Closed Session, the City Council will reconvene into Open Session for the purpose of certifying the Closed Session.

Council meetings are cablecast live on VBTV Cox Cable channel 48, Verizon Cable channel 45, and VirginiaBeach.gov's media center. The meeting is rebroadcast on Cox channel 48 and Verizon channel 45 the following Thursday at 7:00 p.m.; Friday at 9:00 a.m.; and Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
