The 5/31 MEMORIAL COMMITTEE will meet Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Virginia Beach Economic Development Conference Room, 4545 Main St., Suite 700, Virginia Beach from 4 – 8 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to hear from two finalist design firms as they share their concepts for a permanent memorial to honor those lost and forever impacted by the mass shooting at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center on May 31, 2019.

Each firm will have 45 minutes to present, followed by 45 minutes for a question and answer session with the committee.
