This event is a part of the statewide Virginia Semiquincentennial (“VA250”) observance honoring Virginia’s pivotal role in the American Revolution. It will feature an authentic Revolutionary War-era encampment on Saturday and Sunday morning, a battle reenactment, formal commemoration ceremony, a historical church service on Sunday and children’s activities.
