Virginia Beach Sustainability Grant Applications for Large Arts Institutions Open Now

Applications for FY 2027 Virginia Beach Sustainability Grants for Large Arts Institutions are now open to nonprofit arts and cultural organizations based in the city of Virginia Beach with annual operating budgets exceeding $750,000. The grant provides a one-year, unrestricted, renewable and flexible funding to support day-to-day operations or programs.

Managed by the Virginia Beach Cultural Affairs Department, the grant is a strategic investment to sustain and expand Virginia Beach’s largest cultural institutions, foster cultural vitality, enhance economic impact and reinforce the city’s reputation as a premier arts and cultural destination.

Applications must be submitted online by June 12, 2026.
