VBPL provides a free Seed Library with a variety of seeds that you can take home and plant.

VBPL Seed Library

Through a partnership with the Virginia Beach Master Gardeners and the Virginia Beach Department of Agriculture, the Seed Library is offered at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library and at the Princess Anne and Kempsville libraries.

The Master Gardeners regularly stock the Seed Library with new herb, vegetable, and flower seeds and each packet provides a description of the plant and how best to care for it.
