Calling All Creatives: VBPL Art Galleries Now Accepting Artist Submissions

Are you an artist — or do you know someone who is? Virginia Beach Public Library is connecting local artists with our community spaces and accepting applications for exhibitors at one of five branch galleries. 

Artists may apply online and indicate their preferred gallery locations: 

• Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library
• TCC/City of Virginia Beach Joint-Use Library
• Bayside Area Library 
• Great Neck Area Library 
• Oceanfront Area Library

Applications will be accepted now through Sept. 30. The Gallery Committee will review submissions with the goal of curating a rotating exhibition schedule across all five galleries throughout 2027. 

VBPL invites you to complete the submission form and share this announcement with friends, colleagues and local creative communities. Together, we can highlight the vibrant art scene in Virginia Beach.
