Help Build Your Baby’s Brain

Talking builds babies' brains and the Virginia Beach Grow Smart program offers FREE LENA Start classes to help parents make a difference in their baby's life just through early talk and interaction.

Classes are intended for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-3, run for 10 weeks, and are offered virtually and in person. Participating families will receive 11 free children's books as well as high-quality parent materials and free incentives for graduating. Three class options are available

Registration and orientation on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m.

• Class start date: Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m.
• Location: Bow Creek Recreation Center (3427 Club House Road)

Registration and orientation on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m.

• Class start date: Thursday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m.
• Location: Virtual (Zoom information will be provided)
