Eviction & Foreclosure Prevention Resources
Programs such as short-term mortgage and rental assistance to help you stay in your home when a financial crisis strikes.
Housing Resource Center
Located at 104 N. Witchduck Road, the Housing Resource Center is a one-stop-shop offering shelter, supportive services, and community resources to families and individuals who are homeless or facing a housing crisis.
Affordable Rental Housing
Housing & Neighborhood Preservation has resources to help people find rental housing they can afford. Landlords and owners of rental property are key partners, but the department neither owns nor operates any housing itself.
Housing Choice Voucher Program
A program that assists low-income households. Families, as well as individuals who meet income and eligibility guidelines, are selected by Housing & Neighborhood Preservation from a waiting list. Participating households may choose to remain where they are or move elsewhere in Virginia Beach.
