Virginia Beach's Annual State of the City Address to be Live Streamed on VBgov.com
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (March 17, 2021) — Today, Virginia Beach Mayor Robert M. "Bobby" Dyer will deliver his third annual State of the City address virtually. This year's presentation will be live streamed online at www.VBgov.com/media and on the Hampton Roads Chamber's YouTube channel at 12:30 p.m. The event is the first in a series of five sponsored by the Hampton Roads Chamber.
Much of his talk will highlight ways the City and its citizens have demonstrated how to "improvise, adapt and overcome" the challenges of 2020, especially the coronavirus pandemic.
The State of the City address is scheduled to be rebroadcast on Cox Channel 48 and Verizon Channel 45, beginning Sunday, March 21, and play through Saturday, April 10, as scheduled below:
- Sunday – 6 p.m.
- Monday – 5 a.m.
- Tuesday – 9 p.m.
- Wednesday – 8 a.m.
- Friday – 9 p.m.
- Saturday – 12 a.m. & 3 p.m.
