Virginia Beach Waste Collections Resume

​Following a one-day delay, waste collection services have resumed. Please note that a sliding schedule is in place for the remainder of this week and applies to trash and bulky items only. Wednesday routes are being collected today, Thursday, Aug. 20. Thursday routes will be serviced Friday. Friday routes will be serviced on Saturday. Recycling collection remains unchanged and will occur on your normal collection day. Routes not completed on Tuesday, Aug. 18 are being serviced today.Yard waste crews continue to work their way through the city.
