Virginia Beach Health Department Suspends Beach Water Monitoring Due to Tropical Storm Isaias

​The Virginia Beach Department of Public Health will suspend the Beach Water Monitoring Program for Virginia Beach- Bay and Ocean beaches this week due to the tropical storm expected to impact Virginia's coastline this week. The Beach Water Monitoring Program will resume, weather permitting, next week.Normally, 46 beach sites across Virginia's Coast are monitored weekly from May through September for bacteria.
