*Update* Shooting 200 block of Standard Lane

*Update*The preliminary investigation has revealed that there was an altercation between the decedent and another individual in the 100 block of Prince Street that escalated to shots being fired. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene and has been identified as 20-year-old Uriel Tsedeeque Williams, of Virginia Beach.The other involved person stayed on scene and was detained for questioning. No charges have been filed at this time, however, this is still an active investigation.MPO Linda KuehnVirginia Beach Police Public Affairs Officer​On 04/19/2020 police received a call for a gunshot wound in the 200 block of Standard Lane. On arrival officers located a male victim suffering form a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced at the scene.
