*Update* Homicide 4300 Block Pleasant Valley Road

*Update*The decedent has been identified as 28-year-old Breyon Terrell Cook of Virginia Beach. Investigators are still seeking information that will help solve this case to bring justice for Breyon. This shooting took place at Rosemont Forest Park, during a celebratory gathering in daylight hours. There were dozens of people in attendance, as depicted in the attached photo. On Sunday, June 21, 2020, at approximately 7:38 p.m. emergency services received a call for service for a shooting that occurred in the 4300 block of Pleasant Valley Road. Police arrived and located 2 adult males with gunshot wounds. One male was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other male was transported by EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Homicide Detectives are actively investigating this case, and there is currently no suspect information.This is all of the information available at this time.
