Short-Term Mortgage Assistance Still Available to Help Virginia Beach Homeowners Impacted by COVID-19
Low- and moderate-income Virginia Beach homeowners who have experienced loss of employment income due to COVID-19 and who are at risk of foreclosure are encouraged to apply for the City's Short-Term Mortgage Assistance program. The program provides eligible households with short-term assistance towards mortgage payments that were delinquent on or after April 1, 2020. Assistance is provided one time and payments are made directly to the mortgage company.
